Please explain what you hope to gain by participating in RYLA.

I hope to gain new friends and bonds. I also hope I can gain new knowledge that I will be able to use in the future for many things. One last thing I hope to gain is knowledge on how to be the best leader I can be so I can help the people around me.

Rotary’s motto is “service above self.” What does that mean to you?

To me this means to help other people and your community or town above yourself. You go do things they need before doing things for yourself. You make sure other people are served before you are.

I work at the Howard County Hospital: Here I clean offices, the floor, and the labs. I started here in late 2025.
I also work at the Dugout Bar and Grill: Here I serve food, take orders, make simple food, and clean dishes and tables. I started working here in the summer of 2025.
I also occasionally work at Boutique 29 Eleven. Here I put clothes out on the racks, check people out, and help customers. I started working here in 2024.

In my freshman year I lettered in track and softball. I also have been on the all A honor roll since 7th grade.

I was in my church youth group in 7th and 8th grade year till I was confirmed. I have been on the track team since 7th grade and softball since my freshman year. I have been in FCA and FFA since 7th grade.
