Please explain what you hope to gain by participating in RYLA.

I hope to gain new friends, and to have a fun experience with people from all over the state outdoors and indoors. I also hope to become a better leader and spread kindness and love!

Rotary’s motto is “service above self.” What does that mean to you?

This motto means that you should put others before yourself, and to work as a team to accomplish something you are routing for, and not just alone.

8th grade: The Whippet Way award ( to prove and show greatness to everyone), Presidents Education Award, Whippet of the month (a couple kids from each grade would get awarded each month for a number of reasons), A Honor Roll, Basketball, Track, and Minden Public Schools ‘What a Knight” cast.
9th grade: Letter in NSAA State Play Production Contest, Honor Roll, and a few medals from Speech
10th: Gold Laurel ( Minden Public Schools offer Gold Laurels for an academic achievement of having a 3.75-4.0 gpa), many medals in Speech, but most importantly: District Speech Class B Entertainment 4th place, Letter in NSAA State Play Production Contest.
