Why do you want serve in the positions you’ve selected?

I want to serve as a junior counselor because I really enjoyed my time at RYLA as a camper and I would love to come back! I love using my leadership skills and being able to help and teach others. It would be such a great experience for me to be able to teach the campers about leadership and what it takes to be an amazing leader. That is what RYLA taught me during my time there and I plan to influence the campers in a positive way and use what I have learned.

How has your experience as RYLA participante impacted you?

My experience at RYLA was honestly one of the most amazing experiences of my life. I learned so many new things that I was able to bring back into my community. I also met so many amazing people that I still keep in contact with. They have become lifelong friends! RYLA is just a great place to learn new things about yourself and to be yourself.

How do you feel you can contribute and grow RYLA?

I feel I can contribute and grow Great Plains RYLA by helping the future generation of leaders become the best that they can possibly be. My intent is that the campers will get some great information and make great relationships at RYLA so that they can come back and be great leaders in their own communitites. RYLA taught me so many things about life in general and I plan to contribute my personal experiences and knowledge.
