Why do you want serve in the positions you’ve selected?

I want to go to RYLA again and serve as a jc because it was a really fun experience. I want to be able to help and show my great leadership skills that I have gained. I really like having a team of people and growing bonds within it too. I want to help kids who come to these camps not to be shy and just be who they are. I want them not to be so shell shocked. I want them to show what there strengths are and create so many friendships too while finding out who they are. I want to be part of a good change.

How has your experience as RYLA participante impacted you?

RYLA has impacted me in many aspect it made me grow so much as a leader. It helped me make great long term friends. Also it helped me build my teamwork skills and find what my strengths are. This camp helped find who I am and not be afraid to part take in activities. It also made me create an interact for central Nebraska.

How do you feel you can contribute and grow RYLA?

I feel like I can help contribute by encouraging others to apply to come to this amazing camp. I feel like I can help engage with the other campers and jc/sc. I can help kids when they are feeling homesick or needing someone to talk to when having a long stressful day from leaving home for the week on a bad note. I can help RYLA grow just by being apart of it again.
