Vision
Please explain what you hope to gain by participating in RYLA.
By participating in RYLA I hope to gain better communication and problem-solving skills, lasting friendships, learn inspiring information from leaders, and lastly to become a better leader. RYLA sounds like an amazing place to become a better person and leader. I have heard so many fantastic things about RYLA, and how they changed a teenagers life in just one short week.
Rotary’s motto is “service above self.” What does that mean to you?
Rotary’s motto “service above self” means to put the help of others before yourself. If everyone puts themselves before service in our world, nothing good will be accomplished. Also, helping others and giving others a hand, as much as we can, while expecting nothing in return is the best way to live a good life. Helping others is a way that I feel like I am making a difference in this world.
