Vision
Please explain what you hope to gain by participating in RYLA.
I would like to attend this camp in order to learn more about myself and others. I’m hoping that this opportunity will help me to become a better leader. I also would like to learn more about what type of leader I am and how I can better help the people that I care about.
Rotary’s motto is “service above self.” What does that mean to you?
Serving others is very important to me. These are a few things that service above self means to me. It means helping your community, even if that means sacrificing your time that you might have had set aside for something else. It also means putting others in front of yourself. This is done by doing what is best for the group rather than what might be best for yourself. Finally, it means standing up and helping others by setting a good example and by helping them make the world a better place.
