Vision
Please explain what you hope to gain by participating in RYLA.
I hope to gain important skills to pursue my future aspirations of helping other people. Throughout my life, I hope to work with others, inspire, and spread positivity. As I pursue this goal, it will be very important to improve my leadership skills and lift others. I am very passionate about this goal and would hope to gain anything that can help me accomplish it. I would also like to meet amazing new people!
Rotary’s motto is “service above self.” What does that mean to you?
I believe it means helping others and putting others above yourself. Sometimes, sacrificing things of your own to help others. I think this perfectly aligns with my own personal goals and is perfect for me. It means being empathetic and caring for others, and showing up and being that person others can rely on.
