Please explain what you hope to gain by participating in RYLA.

To help others while also strengthening my leadership skills.

Rotary’s motto is “service above self.” What does that mean to you?

I am lucky to be fortunate enough to have a good family and be stable with food and a roof over my head. Some people are not lucky like others are, so it is important to help them get the things they need and want through service. It is important to do service for others who need the things that others get, so it is very important to put others needs before my own needs.
